This is what myself and my friends would define as a "cheese move." Every sports video game had at least one.
This generation while the most improved graphically and in many gameplay enhancements, it's also one with the most glitches.
Time for some concept art! Not for upcoming games, though. Not for old games, either. These are for old systems.
Dogs are back baby, they are just a little harder to attain this time around. These are also subject to change since the game doesn’t come out until November 9th for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC. PC version will have dedicated servers as well as having full modding capabilities.
See the Metroid heroine as you have never seen her before...
What went into one of the greatest games machines of all time...
It really hurts me that some of these games had so much potential and they got canned for a ton of different reasons. Here are 15 games on the PlayStation 3 that got canned. I am pretty much sure that you must have either forgotten many of these or have never heard about them. Check the list out.
More good news in for Red Dead Redemption: Rockstars Western shooter has now shipped 7 million units or 6.9 million to be precise. Publisher Take Two has stated that the title would need to sell at least 5 million copies in order to make a profit. That now seems like a very good possibility. By the end of the year, Red Dead Redemption should go on to reach 8 million in sales, especially considering that a game of the year edition is expected later this year. Not to mention the DLC that has already been released.

We hang on every word Valve says. When you're the company behind Half-Life, Left 4 Dead and Portal, you earn that kind of attention. Well, in a recent interview, Valve head Gabe Newell said we can expect 3 big surprises over the next 12 months.

Last Friday Nintendo's quarter 1 profits were revealed, and the Wii/DS manufacturers' numbers were not looking quite as heavenly as last year. 2.23 million Wiis were sold the first portion of this year compared to 5.17 million last year, and DS sales dropped from 6.94 million to 5.97 million. Once Nintendo touched the sky, the only place left to go was down, unfortunately. With Sony at the bottom of the barrel, however, the only place to go is up.
For years now, people have been speculating – and arguing – about whether Apple is currently making a tablet device. Most of this is nothing more than bloghead analysis of such a decision, which can be boiled down to “They’d be utter morons to even think about it!” or “They’d be utter morons to not think about it!” and also “They’re utter morons and aliens are coming to get me!” But amidst the B.S. (baseless speculation – what did you think that stood for?) there are a few facts that support the claim of a new Apple endeavor, and we feel it worthy to address them now. Oh, and by "facts" we of course mean uncorroborated Internet rumors that are impossible to prove – but they’re also impossible to disprove, so that means something, right?
While news of Shirley Manson, Santana and Nirvana lending their musical talents to the Guitar Hero franchise may excite some, others can’t contain their joy over the announcement that Taylor Swift is joining forces with Band Hero. Who are we to judge?
If you're one of the misguided who thinks that Valve is abandoning L4D1 players like they're quarantined, think again. Valve has announced that new DLC is headed to the undead apocalyptic FPS in the form of "Crash Course." The experience this scenario intends to offer will be more condensed, more managed, and a heck of a lot more intense.
Jonathon Blow's last masterpiece, Braid, immersed gamers in a gorgeous 2D world with mind-bending, thought provoking puzzles to solve. Since the game's inception it has been critically heralded as an indie darling on the 360 and PC, and is now coming to the PS3. The game also helped solidify Blow as a household name in the industry, which is why the announcement of his new game, The Witness, should have your attention.
We’ve already spent many an afternoon in Arkham Asylum, and while it may sound a bit masochistic, we can’t wait to be locked up again. Starting this Friday those of you at home can join us in our excitement when the Xbox and PS3 demos of the game launch.
The FPS genre has been entirely underrepresented on both of Nintendo's platforms this generation. With average games like the Wii's The Conduit and the DS's Dementium: The Ward, it's hard to be hopeful for some solid shooting action on a Nintendo system. Activision isn't giving up hope, though, as they've recently announced Modern Warfare: Mobilized for the Nintendo DS.
Today Nintendo officially launches their DSi Facebook Connect technology, which will allow users to directly upload snapshots taken on their handheld device to the social networking website. This will make it that much easier to inundate your friend’s news feed with images of you in the mirror, snapshots of your cat doing something totally adorable and pictures from your family BBQ. Of which we are extremely interested in. Unwarranted sarcasm aside, if your cell phone lacks the capacity to upload and share images, it’s nice to have a backup system that allows you to bypass the computer when processing everyday media.
