Last Friday Nintendo's quarter 1 profits were revealed, and the Wii/DS manufacturers' numbers were not looking quite as heavenly as last year. 2.23 million Wiis were sold the first portion of this year compared to 5.17 million last year, and DS sales dropped from 6.94 million to 5.97 million. Once Nintendo touched the sky, the only place left to go was down, unfortunately. With Sony at the bottom of the barrel, however, the only place to go is up.
